Frequently Asked Questions
How do I change my password?

Select Security and Privacy from the menu above. Input your current password into the box provided and then enter your new password in the ‘New’ box below. Finally retype the new password and click on ‘Save changes’.

Note: Passwords should be at least 6 characters long and should include uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers.

What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

Select Security and Privacy from the menu above and then click on the ‘Forgotten your password?’ link. Input your email address and soon after you will receive a randomly generated password. Remember to check your ‘junk box’, just in case.

We recommend that you change this new password to something more memorable by following the instructions in How do I change my password above?

Note: Passwords are encrypted and cannot be seen by anyone.

How do I change my personal details?

Select My profile from the menu above. Input your new details in the appropriate places. Once done click on ‘Save changes’ at the bottom of the page.

How do I delete my account?

Naturally we’ll be very sorry to see you go but, if you must leave us, select My profile from the menu above. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Delete My Profile’. You will be asked to input your password before all of your personal details, test scores etc are deleted permanently. Although this cannot be undone if you ever want to come back you will be very welcome to start afresh.

Note: Please be aware that as Data Controllers, defined in the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, the owners of the course(s) to which you had previously subscribed might have your details stored separately. These records will not be automatically deleted.

How do I delete myself from a course?

If you wish to stay registered with Travel Uni and only want to unsubscribe from a particular course, select Courses from the menu above. Scroll down the My courses page until you find the course you wish to delete. Click on the ‘Delete course’ link. You will be asked to input your password before all of your test scores etc are deleted permanently from the course. If you wish to re-join the course in the future you can of course start afresh at any time.

Note: Please be aware that as a Data Controller, defined in the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, the owner of the course might have your details stored separately. These records will not be automatically deleted.

How do I unsubscribe from newsletters?

There are two ways of unsubscribing from Travel Uni newsletters;

1. Select My Communication Preferences from the menu above. Scroll to ‘My Consent’ and select “No, not right now thanks.”

2. At the bottom of our newsletters you will find an ‘unsubscribe’ link. Select that and you will be removed from our newsletter list.

How can I see what courses I’ve completed?

Return to the My Travel Uni home page and scroll down to ‘Courses’. Click on the ‘Go to Completed’ link.

How can I see what courses I’ve started but not completed?


Return to the My Travel Uni home page and scroll down to ‘Courses’. Click on the ‘Go to In progress’ link.

How can I see what courses I’ve not yet started?


Return to the My Travel Uni home page and scroll down to ‘Courses’. Click on the ‘Go to Not started’ link.

How can I see what other courses are available?

Select Courses from the menu above and then click on the ‘Other courses available’ tab.

Find the course or courses that interest you and, one at a time, click into the ‘Sign up to course’ box. You will be required to accept the Terms and Conditions and agree to the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy of each course. You will then be able to login straightaway using your email address and Travel Uni password. Shortly after signing up you should receive an email welcoming you to the course.

How are my points calculated?

For each course, on Travel Uni, that you complete successfully you gain points. If the course is powered by Equator Learning you gain 20 points; for all other courses you will gain 10 points.

Return to the My Travel Uni home page and scroll down to ‘My points’. Click on the ‘Go to My points’ link to see the list of courses and the number of points possible per course.

What are the different status levels?

The more points you gain the higher your learning status on Travel Uni. Everyone starts as an Apprentice and then you can progress as follows:
Apprentice > Student > Graduate > Expert > Master
